ONTARIO, California (July 29, 2014) — A motorcyclist was injured Tuesday morning when a driver in a pickup truck hit a large tire tread and it flew up and hit the rider on the eastbound State Route 60 Freeway, just west of Milliken Avenue, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
The Ontario Fire Department responded to the 1:17 a.m. crash with paramedics to assist those who were injured. The driver of the silver Chevrolet pickup truck pulled over to call for paramedics and assist the injured motorcyclist who was riding a blue 2006 Harley Davidson bike.
Police will investigate the circumstances surrounding this crash and determine liability for this accident.
