ONTARIO, California (Sunday, January 31, 2016) – A white pickup truck went down an embankment off the right shoulder allegedly after being struck by another, unknown vehicle yesterday evening on eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway, west of Euclid Avenue. The vehicle rode up on the guardrail after the initial collision and rolled over, crashing down the embankment. The driver of the vehicle was taken to an area hospital by ambulance. His girlfriend remained behind with his driver’s license and gave it to the captain of the fire department.
The incident took place yesterday evening at about 7:01 p.m., according to an incident report by the California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino. A wrecker arrived at the scene shortly after and latched a cable to the truck, managing to haul it to the roadside before towing it away.
