ONTARIO, California (May 20, 2015) — A silver Prius and a large white big rig truck collided Wednesday morning on the eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway, just east of Milliken Avenue, but the truck driver appears to have fled the scene, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 7:38 a.m., CHP officers say the two drivers collided and the Prius crashed into the center divider where the driver was trapped briefly. The white semi-tractor trailer box truck pulled over under the Interstate 15 Freeway overpass, but then fled the scene of the crash.
Paramedics responded to help the driver in the sedan, but it appears no one was transported to a hospital.
An investigation is underway by police into liability for the crash.
