ORANGE, California (March 19, 2017) – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a car Friday night in the area of South Lewis Street and West Tiller Avenue, according to The Orange County Register.
The coroner’s office identified the victim as 24-year-old Andy Hoang, of Anaheim.
As per the article, deputies said Hoang was immediately transported toUC Irvine Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. He was hit by an SUV at about 9:07 p.m.
The driver did not appear impaired when the accident took place. The motorist stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police. The incident remains under investigation.
