ORANGE, California — According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, a bicycle rider sustained injuries after being hit by a vehicle on Highway 22 at Glassell Street onramp.
On December 7 at about 7:12 p.m., a bicycle was struck by a light colored SUV on the westbound of the highway.
The involved vehicle possibly continued driving away following the collision as the CHP logged the incident as a hit-and-run crash.
The severity of injuries sustained by the rider was not immediately known.
The CHP team did not mention further details on the accident as investigation is ongoing.
