One Injured in Crash on State Route 55 in Orange
ORANGE, Calif. (Dec. 12, 2024) — At least one person was hurt Thursday in a car accident in Orange on the southbound Costa Mesa 55 Freeway, just north of the Garden Grove 22 Freeway.
The collision occurred at 2:36 p.m. on Dec. 12th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a silver Lexus and a grey Toyota Camry sedan were among three vehicles involved and the motorists pulled over at the center divider. There was also a big rig truck pulled over on the right shoulder, but it’s unknown if the vehicle was involved.
Paramedics responded and stated there was a passenger from one of the vehicles with neck pain, but it’s unknown if they were taken to a hospital by ambulance.
CHP traffic investigators will conduct an investigation into liability for the crash in Orange on the 55 Freeway.
