Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Orange County Crash at Santiago Canyon and Modjeska Canyon
ORANGE COUNTY, CA (June 3, 2023) – A crash seriously injured a motorcyclist at Santiago Canyon and Modjeska Canyon roads in Orange County.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Friday night. Officers reported the wreck on June 2 shortly before 9 p.m.
CHP said a black Isuzu Rodeo and the motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason in Orange County near Lake Forest. The two crashed at the intersection of Santiago Canyon and Modjeska Canyon roads.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the SUV ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. The cause of the Orange County crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of Santiago Canyon and Modjeska Canyon roads to shut down after the accident.
