Multiple Collisions at Manning Ave and Hills Valley Road in Orange Cove
TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (August 24, 2021) — An Orange Cove accident involving multiple vehicles happened Tuesday morning at Manning Avenue and Hills Valley Road (Road 120) in Tulare County.
The California Highway Patrol reported the drivers of a Honda Pilot and Honda sedan collided due to unknown reasons.
Shortly after, a second two-vehicle collision happened near the intersection and involved a full-size Dodge pickup truck, police said. There may have also been a third Orange Cove accident at the intersection.
Tulare County Traffic Collision with Major Injuries
The vehicles blocked the roadway in both directions, the report said.
Paramedics responded to transport two people with major injuries to the hospital. There were also two others hurt among the three collisions, according to the CHP report.
Three vehicles required tow trucks due to damage from the collisions.
Meanwhile, the CHP is heading up an investigation into liability for the Orange Cove accident.
