Orange crash Collins Glassell
1 Killed, 2 Injured in Orange Crash at Collins Avenue and Glassell Street
ORANGE, CA (May 21, 2022) – A car crash killed one person and injured two others at Collins Avenue and Glassell Street in Orange.
According to The Orange County Register and My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Friday night. Officers reported the wreck at around 9:50 p.m.
The incident began when a Honda Civic was stopped at a red light at Collins Avenue preparing to turn north onto Glassell Street in Orange.
2 Cars Collide
Police said for an unknown reason, a Dodge Ram then slammed into the rear of the Honda. The two crashed in the intersection on May 20.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and rushed the driver of the pickup to a hospital, where he died. The two occupants in the Civic, a man and a woman, sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon treated both patients at the site. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, police forced the area of Collins and Glassell to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the Orange crash is still under investigation.
