Minor Injury Motorcycle Crash on 55 Freeway in Orange
ORANGE, Calif. (Sept. 27, 2022) — An Orange motorcycle accident on the Costa Mesa (55) Freeway happened Tuesday morning near Katella Avenue.
The two-vehicle crash occurred in the northbound lanes about 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 27th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the rider went down in the No. 1 lane of the freeway. Paramedics responded to help the injured person, but there are no further details provided in the CHP report.
A tow truck removed the motorcycle from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
