ORANGE, California (October 11, 2016) – According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, a motorcyclist sustained injuries following a hit-and-run collision on Highway 55 at Lincoln Avenue late Tuesday afternoon.
On the northbound of the highway, a motorcycle rider was found lying down on the road after he was hit by a vehicle at about 5:30 p.m.
As per the report, the suspect continued driving away from the scene after the impact.
Responding medics affirmed the rescued motorcyclist sustained several injuries from the crash. The identity of the victim will be disclosed after coroners accomplish next of kin notification.
Further, the CHP team logged the suspect’s vehicle was possibly a navy blue compact car and has exited at Lincoln. The police have not yet confirmed this information as investigation is still ongoing.
