Pedestrian Injured in Orange Hit-and-Run on Spring Street Near School
ORANGE, CA (January 28, 2022) – A hit-and-run crash injured a pedestrian on Spring Street near a high school in Orange.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Friday morning. According to their dispatch, officers reported the collision shortly after 9:30 a.m.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in the city of Orange. The driver hit the person on East Spring Street near the El Modena High School.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Esplanada Street. They found the victim left wounded in the roadway as a result of the collision
Medical personnel treated the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the accident. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the victim and then fled the area. Officers forced a stretch of Spring Street to shut down near the school following the collision.
The cause of the Orange hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
