Major Injury Motorcycle Accident on Greenback Lane
ORANGEVALE, Calif. (May 19, 2022) — An Orangevale crash on Greenback Lane left a motorcycle rider with major injuries Thursday morning near Kenneth Avenue.
The multi-vehicle crash occurred in the eastbound lanes about 8:19 a.m. on May 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a motorcycle, a white Chrysler sedan and a black pickup truck collided due to unknown circumstances, police said. The report did not specify what led to the crash at the intersection, but it is controlled by traffic lights and left-hand turn arrows.
The motorcyclist suffered major injuries in the crash. Paramedics responded to take the rider to a hospital for further treatment. Meanwhile, two tow trucks came to remove the motorcycle and one of the other vehicles.
Investigators are working to determine liability for the collision.
