Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Orangevale Crash at Greenback and Chestnut
ORANGEVALE, CA (May 6, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Greenback Lane and Chestnut Avenue in Orangevale.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the wreck on May 4 at about 9:34 am.
CHP said the rider of a Ducati motorcycle and a dark blue sedan collided for an unknown reason in Orangevale. The two crashed at the intersection of Greenback Lane and Chestnut Avenue.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and soon found the motorcyclist down on the ground. The patient sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the victim to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. Officers forced the area of Greenback and Chestnut to shut down after the incident.
The cause of the Orangevale crash is still under investigation.
