Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Orangevale Crash at Greenback and Hazel
ORANGAVALE, CA (September 24, 2022) – A crash seriously injured a motorcyclist at Greenback Lane and Hazel Avenue in Orangevale.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:31 p.m.
CHP said the motorcycle rider and at least one car collided for an unknown reason in Orangevale. The two crashed at the intersection of Greenback Lane and Hazel Avenue.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
The incident log described the car as an SUV. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist down on the ground.
The patient sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then rushed the victim to a hospital for treatment.
The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released. Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck.
Officers forced the area of Greenback and Hazel to shut down after the incident. The cause of the Orangevale crash is still under investigation.
