EAST SACRAMENTO, Calif., (August 26, 2026) — A pedestrian and a vehicle accident occurred early Wednesday morning in Orangevale at Madison Avenue and Illinois Avenue, resulting in major injuries.

The incident was reported on August 26th at approximately 4:52 AM when a Nissan Altima struck a pedestrian, leaving the individual down in the roadway. Emergency responders, including the California Highway Patrol and fire department units, quickly arrived at the scene to assist.
