Pedestrian Injured in Orangevale Hit-and-Run at Greenback Lane and Walnut Avenue
ORANGEVALE, CA (February 25, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured a pedestrian at Greenback Lane and Walnut Avenue in Orangevale.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Thursday evening. Officers reported the collision at about 6:48 p.m.
According to their report, a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason. The driver hit the person at the intersection of Greenback Lane and Walnut Avenue.
Victim Hit by Vehicle in Orangevale Thursday
Firefighters along with the paramedics then responded to the scene. They found the victim left suffering from unspecified injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon provided treatment to the patient. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Officers forced Greenback Lane and Walnut Avenue to close following the Orangevale hit-and-run crash.
Authorities are still searching for the suspect.
