Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Orcutt Crash on Southbound Highway 135
ORCUTT, CA (February 25, 2021) – A motorcyclist was severely injured after a crash along Highway 135 in Orcutt.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 4:24 p.m.
CHP said the motorcycle rider and a vehicle collided for an unknown reason. They crashed on southbound Highway 135, just south of Union Valley Parkway.

Firefighters along with the paramedics then responded to the scene near Santa Maria. They found the motorcyclist who ended up suffering from serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed the patient to the hospital for treatment of severe road rash. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officials soon forced Highway 135 near Union Valley to briefly shut down following the Orcutt crash. Authorities are still determining the cause of the wreck.
