Child Hospitalized After Pedestrian Accident on Jensen Ranch Road Friday
Orcutt, CA (April 30, 2021) – A child suffered severe injuries following a pedestrian accident on Jensen Ranch Road, the Nozzhawk News reported.
On Friday, at approximately 5:35 p.m., a vehicle struck the juvenile in the 1500 block of Jensen Ranch Road in Orcutt. The collision resulted in major injuries to the 10-year-old child.
Per article published online, personnel from the Santa Barbara County Fire Department; personnel from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department; the California Highway Patrol; an American Medical Response ambulance; and a Calstar medical helicopter all responded to the accident scene.

Authorities said the air ambulance transported the victim to Santa Barbara College Hospital for treatment of potentially critical injuries. Additional details on the patient have not been revealed thus far.
Investigators handling the case continue to work at this time to determine the exact cause of the pedestrian accident in Orcutt.
