Pedestrian Injured in Orcutt Hit-and-Run on Glen Cairon Drive
ORCUTT, CA (January 19, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured a pedestrian along Glen Cairon Drive in Orcutt on Tuesday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, officers received a call about the accident at around 8:38 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason at the location of 718 Glen Cairon Drive. The driver hit the victim near Cherry Avenue.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and then found the person suffering from unspecified injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel provided treatment to the patient. The name of the wounded pedestrian and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, officials affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid and fled westbound on Glen Cairon. The report described the car involved as a silver Toyota Tacoma.
Authorities later indicated that they located suspect vehicle at 151 View Park Drive in Santa Maria. The hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
