Pedestrian Injured in Orcutt Hit-and-Run Crash on Pinal Avenue
ORCUTT, CA (May 6, 2021) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash on Pinal Avenue in Orcutt.
The California Highway Patrol received a call bout the accident on Tuesday evening. Officers reported the incident on May 4 at about 7:14 p.m.
According to their dispatch team. a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason. The driver hit the person at 445 Pinal Avenue in Orcutt.
Drivers Hits Victim, Flees Scene
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene between Dyer Street and Gray Street. They found the victim left suffering from unspecified injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to the Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP believed that the motorist did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Authorities are still searching for the suspect. The Orcutt hit-and-run collision is still under investigation.
