2 Injured in Orinda DUI Crash on Bear Creek Road Sunday
ORINDA (August 20, 2018) – Two were injured, one seriously, after an alleged DUI crash along Bear Creek Road on Sunday afternoon, according to East Bay Times.
The accident took place on August 19 at 3:22 p.m. near San Pablo Dam Road.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said a 33-year-old Martinez man was driving a black BMW on Bear Creek Road when he struck a Toyota Prius.

The sole occupant of the Prius sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash. The 30-year-old woman riding as a passenger in the BMW was transported to the hospital with major injuries.
The names and condition of the wounded victims were not released. The 33-year-old operator of the BMW also suffered minor wounds.
Meanwhile, the BMW driver was believed to have been racing a separate vehicle at high speeds before the crash, and have been drunk driving at the time. The investigation is ongoing.
