The crash involving two vehicles occurred about 4:50 p.m.
In an article by The Fresno Bee, CHP said a 42-year-old Redwood City woman was driving a charter bus north on Road 144 when she entered an intersection.
The tour bus driver allegedly failed to notice an oncoming Chrysler 300 headed east on Avenue 416. The bus then collided with the Chrysler which did not have a stop sign and was traveling about 60 mph at the time.
Two 15-year-olds were seriously injured following the accident. The 25-year-old motorist in the Chrysler and a 29-year-old passenger suffered injuries described as moderate.
All four of the injured were transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia for treatment. The operator of the tour bus was unharmed.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident.
