Traffic Accident at Oroville Intersection
OROVILLE, Calif. (Sept. 15, 2023) — A two-vehicle Oroville accident happened Friday at Foothill Boulevard and Miners Ranch Road at Oro Banger Highway.
The collision occurred around 9:44 a.m. on Sept. 15th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a white Nissan Versa and a blue Subaru were involved. One of the motorists also collided with a fire hydrant and water was spraying out of it after the accident.
The Butte County Fire Department responded to help those involved. The northbound lanes were blocked by vehicles and the Nissan had major front-end damage from the accident.
Meanwhile, tow trucks responded and removed both of the vehicles from the intersection.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the accident on Foothill Boulevard in Oroville.
