1 Injured in Oroville Crash on Highway 70 Near Cottonwood
OROVILLE, CA (October 11, 2022) – At least one person was injured after a car crash on Highway 70 near Cottonwood Road in Oroville.
According to an article published by the Action News Now, the accident took place on Monday. Officers reported the wreck in the morning of October 10.
The incident happened at least two vehicles collided for an unknown reason near Oroville in Butte County. They crashed on Highway 70 near Cottonwood Road.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found one individual hurt. The patient sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the victim at the site. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the lanes of Highway 70 to shut down near Cottonwood after the incident. The cause of the Oroville crash is still under investigation.
