Multi-Vehicle Oroville Collision at Miners Ranch Road
OROVILLE, Calif. (Oct. 6, 2021) — An Oroville crash happened Wednesday afternoon at Miners Ranch Road and Mount Ida Road.
The multi-vehicle collision happened about 1:56 p.m. on Oct. 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported the drivers of a white Ford pickup truck, a white Ford Fusion and a third vehicle collided due to unknown circumstances. One person became trapped in a vehicle and one vehicle caught on fire, the report said.
The vehicles blocked the roadway following the crash on Miners Ranch Road, the CHP said.
Butte County Fire Department crews responded to the scene to help those involved.
Two trucks removed at least two of the damaged vehicles from the crash scene, police said.
Investigators seek to determine liability for the Oroville crash at Miners Ranch Road. Witnesses may contact the CHP.
