3 Children, 2 Adults Hospitalized After Car Accident Near Garden Drive

November 22, 2018 – Several people were injured in a suspected DUI car crash on Highway 70 near Garden Drive Wednesday evening, according to CBS News.
California Highway Patrol’s Oroville division said 25-year-old Ziauna Bloyer, of Modesto, was heading north on Highway 70 when she lost control of her car and crashed into the median wall. The impact caused the car to flip over and land on its roof.
Shortly after the incident, authorities determined a total of five people were in the car at the time of the crash. As per the article, Bloyer, three children, and the father of the children were all taken to a hospital for treatment of unknown extent of injuries.

Meanwhile, investigators mentioned Bloyer lost control due to her state of intoxication. The woman was arrested and is facing charges of felony DUI causing great bodily injury and felony child endangerment.
