At Least 1 Killed in Traffic Collision at Highway 70 and Clark Road Friday
Oroville, CA (July 9, 2021) – A deadly car crash occurred in the area of Highway 70 and Clark Road Friday morning, the Action News Now reported.
Officials said a Chevrolet truck collided into a Payless Supply vehicle at the Oroville intersection. According to the article published online, the Payless vehicle approached the traffic light and came to a stop. For an unknown reason, the Chevrolet failed to slow down and slammed into the back of the other vehicle.

Shortly after 9:30 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the location and found the driver of the pickup truck lifeless. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the fatal car crash in Oroville.
