Deadly Collision at Lower Honcut Road and Palermo Honcut Highway
Oroville, CA (May 17, 2023) – One person suffered fatal injuries following a traffic crash that occurred in the area of Lower Honcut Road and Palermo Honcut Highway.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a man riding a motorcycle collided with a car at the intersection in Butte County. CHP logged the case on May 16, Tuesday, around 12:04 a.m.
At Least 1 Killed in Oroville Crash
Rescue teams later responded to the accident scene and found a Honda Accord and the motorbike both disabled. Medical personnel immediately checked the conditions of both drivers involved in the crash. After the evaluation, paramedics sadly pronounced one person dead. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives assigned to handle the case stayed at the scene the whole morning. They continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the fatal crash happened at Lower Honcut Road and Palermo Honcut Highway.
