Pedestrian Killed in Oroville Crash Near Lincoln Street and Oro Dam Boulevard
OROVILLE, CA (November 25, 2022) – A crash killed a pedestrian near Lincoln Street and Oro Dam Boulevard in Oroville.
According to an article published by the KRCRTV News, the tragic accident took place on Friday evening. Officers reported the collision at around 6 p.m.
Oroville police said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in the city. The driver hit the person near the intersection of Lincoln Street and Oro Dam Boulevard.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found the victim down on the ground. The patient sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the person dead. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police did not mention if the motorist stopped or stayed at the site following the accident. Officers forced the area of Lincoln and Oro Dam to shut down for a time after the incident.
The cause of the fatal Oroville pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
