Oroville Pedestrian Accident on Lower Wyandotte Road at Feather Falls Mini Mart

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. (July 1, 2025) — A pedestrian was seriously injured Tuesday morning in Oroville after a three-vehicle crash on Lower Wyandotte Road near the Feather Falls Mini Mart, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The incident occurred around 9:23 a.m. on July 1st when emergency responders were dispatched to the scene following reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision. Early details from CHP logs indicate that one of the involved vehicles struck a pedestrian, resulting in at least one reported injury—possibly to the wrist—and prompting a response from Butte County Fire and medical personnel.

CHP later upgraded the incident classification to a major injury traffic collision. By 10:39 a.m., authorities confirmed that three vehicles were involved in the crash. The cause of the accident remains under investigation, and the condition of the pedestrian has not yet been publicly released.

Emergency services coordinated with local towing companies and notified the Butte County Sheriff’s Office, which confirmed the incident was citable.

Lower Wyandotte Road near the mini mart was temporarily affected as crews worked to assist the injured and clear the scene.
