California Highway Patrol officials reported that at roughly 1:00 a.m., the driver of an unknown vehicle headed toward Palermo Road suddenly noticed a man in the middle of the road. The driver was unable to stop in time and avoid hitting the victim.
The victim only being identified as a male suffered fatal injuries and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
