2 Hospitalized After Collision at Highway 162 and Wickman Road Saturday
Oroville, CA (October 2, 2021) – Two people suffered injuries following a truck accident that occurred in the area of Highway 162 and Wickman Road, according to Action News Now.
In the early morning of Saturday, a semi truck overturned at the Oroville intersection. Officials said the big rig involved in the crash contained dozens of trapped steer.
After the collision, several dozen cattle ended up running loose near the accident scene.

Preliminary investigation revealed the driver of the semi truck swerved in order to avoid hitting a deer. The sudden movement cause the big rig to overturn.
Shortly after 1:45 a.m., medical personnel arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found the truck operator and the passenger both with injuries. Due to the condition of the victims, emergency crews transported them to a local hospital for minor injuries.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the truck accident on Highway 162 in Oroville.
