Oscar Anguiano, 39, ID’d as Suspect in Seal Beach Fatal DUI Crash
SEAL BEACH, CA (November 14, 2021) – Authorities detained Oscar Anguiano after a fatal DUI crash on the 405 Freeway in Seal Beach.
The California Highway Patrol determined that 39-year-old Garden Grove man was under the influence when the wreck occurred on Saturday.
The incident began when Oscar Anguiano was driving a 2014 Volkswagen at a high rate of speed south on the 405 Freeway in Seal Beach.
2 Killed in Car Crash
CHP said the speeding driver then struck a 2000 Honda near Seal Beach Boulevard. The Honda then caught fire due to the impact of the collision.
The two occupants of the Honda died at the scene. The Orange County Register and My News LA wrote that the accident took place on November 13 at about 11:52 p.m.
Oscar Anguiano sustained major injuries as a result of the crash. Medical personnel took him to the UCI Medical Center for treatment.
Meanwhile, CHP soon arrested Oscar Anguiano for DUI. The Seal Beach DUI crash is still under investigation.
