Homeless Man Killed in Santa Ana Crash
SANTA ANA, Calif. (June 7, 2023) – Oscar Duran Hernandez, 33, died in a Santa Ana pedestrian accident Tuesday night on Edinger Avenue
The homeless man was struck and killed by a vehicle while walking in the 2400 block of West Edinger Avenue, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.
The collision occurred around 10:53 p.m. on June 6th, according to the police department.

Several people called 911 to report the Santa Ana pedestrian accident. Orange County Fire Authority sent paramedics, but sadly Oscar Duran Hernandez died at the scene.
Authorities believe the victim was crossing Edinger Avenue before being hit by an eastbound vehicle in traffic lanes. The motorist involved stopped and cooperated with the investigation.
Police do not suspect alcohol played a role in the collision.
