Santa Ana Man Killed in Lynwood Crash
LYNWOOD, Calif. (Nov. 15, 2021) – Osiris Servin, 18, of Santa Ana, died, five others were hurt early Saturday in a collision on the eastbound Glen Anderson (105) Freeway in the Long Beach area.
The teenager suffered fatal injuries in the 5:38 a.m. crash on Saturday, Nov. 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Osiris Servin was in one of two vehicles that collided just east of Long Beach Boulevard, the CHP said. It’s unknown if he was a driver or passenger and the report did not mention what led up to the collision.
Also, five people suffered injuries in the collision and paramedics transported them to area hospitals. The teenager suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner identified Osiris Servin as the person who died in the collision.
Police issued a Sigalert due to the collision about 6:10 a.m. and closed down the carpool and No. 1 lanes for roughly two hours.
Investigators seek to determine the cause of the crash and liability. Our thoughts and prayers extend to the family of the teen who died.
