SAN DIEGO, California (April 7, 2017) – A traffic collision involving a bus took place in the Otay Mesa neighborhood Friday afternoon, according to NBC San Diego.
The accident occurred just before 12:30 p.m. on Brittania Boulevard, over State Route 905.
As per the article, San Diego Fire-Rescue Department said a vehicle and a bus collided on Brittania Boulevard. The driver of the car was extricated after being pinned inside. One person riding the bus at the time sustained a minor injury following the crash.
Meanwhile, a report by CBS 8 indicated that 11 people were hurt and six of the patients were transported to the hospital for treatment. The total number of wounded parties remained unspecified.
Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the incident.
