Motorcyclist Owen McDonald, 32, Killed in Turlock Crash on Golden State Boulevard
TURLOCK, CA (November 9, 2021) – Owen McDonald was killed after a motorcycle crash on North Golden State Boulevard in Turlock.
The Coroner’s Office identified the 32-year-old Turlock man as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place on Monday afternoon.
The incident began when Owen McDonald was riding a motorcycle north on North Golden State Boulevard in Turlock. At the same time, a Hyundai Accent tried to make a left turn onto Golden State from Pedras Road.
Police said in the process, the motorcyclist collided with the sedan. The Modesto Bee wrote that the accident happened on November 8 at around 4:20 p.m.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Owen McDonald sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then rushed him to a hospital, where he died.
Police added that the woman driving the car survived with non-life-threatening injuries. Medical personnel soon took her for treatment.
Meanwhile, officers forced North Golden State Boulevard to shut down for nearly five hours following the wreck. The cause of the Turlock crash is still under investigation.
