2 Injured in Oxnard Crash on Highway 101 at Del Norte Boulevard
OXNARD, CA (May 29, 2022) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash on Highway 101 and Del Norte Boulevard in Oxnard.
According to an article published by the On Scene TV, the accident took place early Sunday. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:17 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said two cars collided for an unknown reason in the city of Oxnard. They crashed on northbound Highway 101 at Del Norte Boulevard.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
A third vehicle approached and then struck one of the cars involved in the first incident. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
They found two people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel soon took both patients to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the northbound lanes of Highway 101 to shut down near Del Norte following the wreck. The cause of the Oxnard crash is still under investigation.
