At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Collision Near Vineyard Avenue Saturday
Oxnard, CA (April 17, 2022) – A traffic accident that occurred Saturday on Highway 101 resulted in injuries, the California Highway Patrol group reported.

Our sources indicated a man riding a motorcycle collided with a red sedan in the northbound side of the highway. The crash took place near Vineyard Avenue in Oxnard.
Shortly after 2:56 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found both the motorbike and the red Lexus sedan disabled in the right-hand shoulder of the SR-101, also known as Ventura Freeway.
Medical personnel rendered aid to all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained major trauma as a result of the collision. The name of the victim, and their condition at this time have not been discussed thus far.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. They continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash happened on Highway 101 in Oxnard.
