Driver Hospitalized After Collision Near Doris Avenue Thursday
Oxnard, CA (January 21, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Victoria Avenue, the KVTA News reported.
Preliminary investigation revealed a big rig attempted to make a U-turn from southbound Victoria Avenue to northbound Victoria. In the process, a passenger vehicle heading north on Victoria broadsided the big rig. The collision took place Thursday evening in the area near Doris Avenue.
When medical personnel arrived at the accident scene, they immediately attended to all possible victims. Our sources confirmed the driver of the car, a 21-year-old Oxnard resident, sustained serious injuries. An ambulance rushed the patient to Ventura County Medical Center for further treatment and evaluation.
Meanwhile, the truck operator appeared unharmed after ehe incident.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the car crash on Victoria Avenue in Oxnard.
