Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle at 5th and G Street
Oxnard, CA (February 15, 2023) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of 5th and G Street Tuesday, February 14.
According to KVTA News, a male party was struck by a 2003 Chevy Express at the intersection in Oxnard. Earlier reports indicated the horrible crash took place at about 9:40 p.m.
Pedestrian Killed in Oxnard Accident
Emergency crews later arrived at the location and found the pedestrian suffering in serious injuries. Given the condition of the victim, paramedics rushed him to a hospital. Sadly, the patient succumbed to his injuries and died. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
The driver involved in the catastrophic incident stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation process. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the precise cause of the deadly pedestrian accident that happened at 5th and G Street in Oxnard.
