Truck Strikes, Kills Woman on Harbor Boulevard Monday
Oxnard, CA (April 13, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred on April 12, Monday, on Gonzales Road.
The Ventura County Star reported a Dodge Ram truck hit a female party on Gonzales Road around 11:55 p.m. Officials said the horrible crash took place in the area between Harbor Boulevard and Victoria Avenue.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Oxnard, April 12
When officers arrived at the accident scene, they found a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries. Paramedics later confirmed the woman sadly died in the collision. It remained unclear whether the victim succumbed to her injuries at the scene, or at a hospital.
Police continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Per news article, the woman was walking in the road surrounded by agricultural fields. Detectives handling the case continue to work to determine what the victim was doing in the area prior to the fatal collision.
