1 Killed, 1 Injured
OXNARD, California (March 29, 2016) – A fatal 2-car crash occurred at Victoria Avenue and Gonzales Road on Monday evening, according to KVTA.
As per the article, a Honda Civic was going north on Victoria Avenue when at the same time a Hyundai was headed east on Gonzales Road.
The two vehicles collided at the intersection about 6 p.m.
In a report by KEYT, the female passenger in the Hyundai, an 88-year-old woman, was died at the scene. Her name has not been yet released pending notification of family.
The Hyundai driver, 86-year-old Tommy Lee Scissom Jr., suffered a broken clavicle and possibly back injury.
Meanwhile the motorist in the Honda, 28-year-old Armando Marco Tulio Perez Ramirez, was unharmed.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
