1 Killed, 1 Badly Hurt After Motorcycle Accident on Near Montgomery Avenue Saturday
Oxnard, CA (February 7, 2021) – One person died, and another suffered injuries following a traffic collision on Highway 232 Saturday evening.
The KEYT News reported a motorcyclist struck a 2012 Camry on Highway 232 near Montgomery Avenue. Per local news source, the Camry was making a U-turn from the northbound to southbound lanes of the highway when the crash happened. The motorcycle rider slammed into the driver’s side of door of the Camry, resulting in injuries to the two motorists.

According to the article published online, the rider suffered serious trauma as a result of the wreck. An AMR Ambulance rushed the patient to Ventura County Medical Center, where he sadly died. Police continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Officers added the driver of the Camry sustained major injuries in the collision. Additional details on the driver of the Camry have not been revealed thus far.
Responding personnel from the California Highway Patrol group reportedly shut down both lanes of SR-232 to give way to the investigation process. Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work to determine the precise cause of the deadly motorcycle crash on Highway 232.
