Pedestrian Killed in Crash on 110th Street West
LANCASTER, Calif. (Jan. 19, 2021) – Pablo Flores Martinez, 51, died early Sunday following a pedestrian accident on 110th Street West in Lancaster.
The collision happened about 2 a.m. on January 17th, according to My News LA.
A man driving a 2006 Toyota allegedly struck Pablo Flores Martinez as he walked eastbound on the south side of 110th Street West. The crash took place just south of Avenue K. Unfortunately, the man suffered major injuries and died at the scene. His name was later released by the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner on their website.
Lancaster Pedestrian Accident
The driver of the Toyota told authorities that the area was dimly lit and he failed to see the pedestrian.
Meanwhile, the driver in the Toyota stopped and cooperated with police after the crash.
Investigators handling the case continue to work on the case as they seek to determine fault for the collision.
