Man, 25, Died in Pedestrian Accident on State Route 78
ESCONDIDO, Calif. (Dec. 5, 2024) — Pablo Lopez Marin, 25, of Spring Valley, died in a pedestrian accident on Nov. 24th on State Route 78 in Escondido.
The traffic accident occurred at around 9:30 p.m., according to the San Diego Medical Examiner.
The 25-year-old Spring Valley was running across the freeway when he was struck by an eastbound Toyota SUV, the report said.
Paramedics responded and pronounced Pablo Lopez Marin dead at the scene.
The California Highway Patrol is heading up the investigation.
