Pablo Villareal Garcia, 28, Victim in Deadly Crash; Passenger Seriously Hurt
BAKERSFIELD (October 29, 2018)- According to Bakersfield Now, a deadly crash left a man identified as Pablo Villareal Garcia, 28, of Shafter, with fatal injuries this morning on Highway 99 at Panama Lane.
According to authorities, the collision occurred just after midnight between a white vehicle and a black car.
California Highway Patrol officials have disclosed that the driver of the black car had been headed eastbound before colliding with the white vehicle driven by Villareal Garcia.
The wreck tragically left Villareal Garcia with fatal injuries which he died from at the scene.
His passenger, an unidentified victim, suffered major injuries and was rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
Meanwhile, both the driver and passenger in the black vehicle were also hurt and transported to hospitals.
Driver of Black Car Possibly Under Influence
According to Bakersfield Now, CHP officials planned to run toxicology tests on the driver of the black car who they suspect may have been under the influence or either alcohol or drugs.
