Hollister Crash on State Route Highway 152
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, Calif. (May 18, 2022) — A two-vehicle car accident on Wednesday happened on Highway 152 at Dinosaur Point Road in the Hollister area.
The collision occurred about 10:06 a.m. on May 18th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The vehicles reportedly collided on the westbound side of the highway, but one of them “flew through the air” and wound up on its side in a ditch on the eastbound side. Both vehicles suffered major damage due to the collision.
CHP officials requested an ambulance after at least one person suffered an abdominal injury. The man was in a “lot of pain and grabbing his stomach and side,” the report said. Paramedics transported at least one person to a hospital for further treatment.
The cause of the car accident on Highway 152 remains under investigation by the CHP.
