PACIFIC BEACH: Hit-and-Run Crash at Garnet Avenue and Baynard Street
PACIFIC BEACH (August 5, 2016)- According to NBC News San Diego, a malicious hit-and-run collision took place Thursday evening in San Diego.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Garnet Avenue and Baynard Street adjacent to a Bank of America location.
Police officials reported that an unknown driver attempted to pass a vehicle stopped at a red light before hitting two pedestrian men crossing the intersection.
The victims who are only being identified as two males, ages 23 and 25, suffered serious injuries and were rushed to trauma centers with possible head trauma.
No description of the hit-and-run vehicle has been released at this time as police officials will attempt to pull surveillance footage captured by local businesses at the intersection of Baynard and Garnet.
